Sharing with you today my trading results for the months from April to August that I have discussed in this blog.
If you remember this is the downtrending market that was rocked by the Greek debt issue, election and EU rescue efforts and so forth.
It’s also the time that I am having new adventures in learning to drive. (Yes you can still teach dogs new tricks!) So trading activity is not as frequent
as I would have liked, but I thought it best to ensure that I do not put undue pressure or stress in myself when driving and trading, with good results overall.
My objective is to :
1. Ensure that I trade following my rules, observe discipline especially in position sizing and following my procedure
2. Financial target is to make 3 times what I risked, which in terms of R (or Risk), the initial risk is $200. So my target is to make 3x that.
3. Keep losses small, which is the 1R (or $200)
So those gains and wins are quite good and met my objectives for the last trading period before I went on holiday.
And oh, I can drive now, took the driving test but failed due to speeding *missed the road sign
Hearing that I failed, my son said “I’m almost proud of you mom” 🙂
Next time, it will be a sure win!
