High Heeled Traders

I’ve been obsessing about making the kid’s beds pristine these days.  And I just realized why. I’ve been enjoying seeing them fling their little bodies into it and dive head-long in reckless abandon  🙂    It’s just as well, as I can just enjoy their diving  and not have to do it myself when I am trading!

I admit, it was hard, quite scary.  The weekend did bring the expected “never say die” declarations from the G8 leaders meeting with re-electionist President Obama.  You know how these things work,  “got to look good to the voters so can we not have a crisis? ”  And of course, everybody doesn’t want another crisis so they all pledged for growth in the Euro and promised to let the oil reserves flowing to counter oil spike from  Iran sanctions kicking in on 1st of July.  So they all got that sorted, the next market session, it was all hurray and the market rallied only to sputter the next day.

What’s a girl to do?

Fortunately I left my positions alone, one was long on the stock, for which I had a protection with a covered call (STOTO7)  and a bought call (STOUZ7) to protect on a surge to the upside.  That’s really all one can do, be prepared for anything that can happen, and keep watching for the right time to act as per the system.

I did have with me good books to curl up with and that was a helpful distraction from the scary market.

Other suggestions: Eat. Sit and wait. Or shop.

Whatever keeps you relaxed and sane!

Here are some shopping trip photos of my friend Fon and her girl gang!

Enjoy!
