Shine! Shine!

December 7, 2012

I’ve just been thinking about the year ahead so it got me thinking to revisit my performance today.  The easiest one I was able to generate is the retirement fund, so I’m sharing you the picture as follows. It is still in a nice upward trend and not too many valleys despite some badddd market due the EU and US debt dramas.  It also shows the performance prior to April 2008 which was a relatively  uptrending market but 2007 was a bad year and the subprime crisis already erupting from when I decided to manage the fund directly.

I thought I’d also check my “shadow standing” in the Stock Market Game.  And here is the background if you want to review.
I bought BPI at 85.45 with 5851 units (500,000 divided by purchase price) and it is now 95.25 pesos, so the value of the holdings is pesos 557,343.50

I bought PGOLD at 29.70 with 16835 units (500,000 divided by purchase price) and it is now 32.60, so the value of the holdings is 548,821.50 pesos

So total holdings amounts to 1,106,165 or profit of 106,165 pesos

Not too bad. Not too bad at all.
